What you’ll do:
Sail a shallow-draft schooner designed to navigate the calm flats, mangrove channels and shallow sandbars of the Key West National Wildlife Refuge (also known as “the Backcountry”).

Kayak: Paddle through mangrove-shaded waterways, drift among roots and tunnels of lush green – peaceful, immersive, and unlike any typical tour.

Snorkel: Slip into crystal-clear shallow flats where sunlight reaches the sea floor. Gaze down on living coral, vibrant fish, and maybe turtles or dolphins. All gear is included and the crew guides you the whole way.

Relax: Between activities enjoy time on deck under the sails, wind in your hair and nothing but water and horizon around you. The early hours give you that exclusive "we're the first ones out" vibe.

Includes masks, fins, snorkels, kayaks, life jackets, wet-suits in winter time upon request, snacks, soft-drinks, beer/wine.

What you’ll do:

Snorkel: in shallow flats or reef edges where marine life thrives; the afternoon light often highlights vibrant color underwater.

Relax: Enjoy snacks and drinks onboard (fruit, chips & salsa, hummus, soft drinks, water—plus beer/wine in some seasons) while you take in the sea breeze.

Sunset: As the final leg begins, the schooner’s sail takes you back at sunset – sky turns gold, pink and orange, and the sea mirrors the magic.

  • Public Charter – up to 4 guests: Non-refundable within 24 hours of the tour start time.
  • Public Charter – 5 guests or more: Non-refundable within 72 hours of the tour start time.
  • Private Charters: Non-refundable within 14 days of the tour start time.

Trip Protection

  • With Trip Protection, you may cancel or modify your booking up to 1 hour before your tour start time — for any reason.
  • You’ll receive a full refund, minus the Trip Protection cost and any processing fees.
  • Trip Protection includes one complimentary rebooking.
  • If you choose to reschedule using Trip Protection, the new reservation is not eligible for further changes or cancellations.
